赵旭东，教授，博士生导师，东北林业大学5211人才计划获得者，本硕博均毕业于哈尔滨工业大学，香港中文大学计算机科学与工程系博士后，上海交通大学计算机科学与工程系博士后。

目前所在学科：生物学（生物信息学）博导、计算机科学与技术(学硕)，计算机技术(专硕)。

主要研究方向：机器学习、模式识别、图像处理、生物统计学、生物信息学。

学术领域成果：截至目前以第一或通讯作者身份发表学术论文论文36篇，包括SCI-22篇（含高被引论文1篇），作为唯一著作人出版专著1部、专业教材3本，主持或参与国家自然科学基金项目、国家重点研发计划项目（子题）共计11项，累积科研经费计300万。

目前重点关注的研究领域：特征选择、特征抽取、聚类、深度学习、集成学习、图像处理、生物统计等。

Zhao Xudong, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Northeast Forestry University, is a recipient of the 5211 Talent Program. He completed postdoctoral research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology.

His research focuses on machine learning, pattern recognition, image processing, biostatistics, and bioinformatics. To date, he has published 36 papers as first or corresponding author (including 22 SCI papers and one highly cited), authored one monograph and three textbooks, and undertaken 11 national research projects with total funding of about 3 million RMB.

Research interests: feature selection, feature extraction, clustering, deep learning, ensemble learning, and bioinformatics.
